Watch repair enquiries

Repairs for everyday and sentimental watches.

Some workshops focus on high-value watches. We're glad to look at the watch you wear every day, or the one that was passed down to you. Send a few photos and we'll reply with an honest first view and the next steps, before any paid work is agreed.

How it works

Three steps, no commitment

  1. 01

    Tell us what it's doing

Choose the closest description, add a few words and, if you can, photos of the dial, the case back and the strap or bracelet.

  2. 02

    We look at it

We read your enquiry, look at the photos and reply by email. If we need more detail or another photo, we'll ask.

  3. 03

    You decide

We explain what we think is needed and what happens next. Nothing paid goes ahead without your agreement.

Starting prices

What repairs start from

  • Quartz watch repair

    From £90

Diagnosis and repair of quartz watches that have stopped, lose time or behave oddly.

  • Basic mechanical and automatic work

    From £150

Basic work on hand-wound and automatic watches. Not a full service unless your quote says so.

These are starting prices. Your quote sets out the work, any parts and the full price, including any VAT, and nothing goes ahead until you approve it. We don't do pressure testing, so we can't confirm water resistance after a repair.

What you can ask about

Start with what you've noticed

  • Not keeping time
  • Battery / stopped
  • Strap / bracelet
  • Other / unsure

These are starting points for your enquiry, not a fixed list of services. Every watch is different, and if it isn't something we can take on, we'll say so plainly.

Every watch is different, so the final price comes from a quote once we've seen your details.

Sending an enquiry is free and commits you to nothing.

Brands we know well

The watches we see most

These brands pass through London Watch Market more than any others, so they're the ones we know best. Knowing a brand isn't a promise that every repair is possible; enquiries about any brand are welcome.

  • Seiko

Mostly quartz in our stock, plus everyday automatics.

  • Tissot

Mostly quartz dress and everyday watches, with some hand-wound pieces.

  • Gucci

Almost all quartz in our stock, including bangle and interchangeable-bezel styles.

  • Raymond Weil

Mostly quartz, with some hand-wound models.

Repair enquiry

Tell us about your watch

Only your name, email and a few words are needed. Photos help us give you a more useful first answer.

What is the watch doing?

Pick the closest one, or leave it and just describe it below.

For example: stopped last week, loses ten minutes a day, clasp won't close.
Photos (optional, up to 8)

The dial, the case back, the crown side and the strap or clasp. Daylight works best.

We use your details only to reply to this enquiry. Photos are deleted from our system after 14 days. See the privacy policy.

Questions

Before you send an enquiry

Which photos are most useful?
A straight-on photo of the dial, one of the case back, one of the side with the crown, and the strap or bracelet including the clasp. Daylight from a window works better than flash. If you can't take photos, send the enquiry anyway.
Do you repair every brand and every fault?
No one can honestly promise that. Some repairs depend on parts that are no longer made. We look at what you send and tell you plainly whether it's something we can take on, and if not, why.
How much will it cost?
Quartz repairs start from £90 and basic mechanical or automatic work from £150. The final price depends on what the watch needs and whether parts are required. We confirm it in a quote, including any VAT, and nothing goes ahead until you approve it.
Is my watch worth repairing?
If it matters to you, it's worth asking. We're happy to look at everyday and sentimental watches, not only valuable ones. If a repair doesn't make sense, for example because a part is no longer available, we'll tell you before you spend anything.
Do you test water resistance?
No. We don't do pressure testing, so we can't confirm a watch's water resistance after any work, and you should treat a repaired watch as not water resistant.
What happens to my photos and details?
We use them only to answer your enquiry. Photos are deleted from our system after 14 days; your enquiry is kept so we can follow it up.
Should I send you my watch?
Not yet, please. We take enquiries only: we reply by email first, and we'll only ask for the watch once you've accepted a quote and we've agreed with you how it reaches us.
